Hari Darmawan, the founder of Matahari Department Store, is full of life for someone who’s 71. He can still run up and down the stairs to change clothes for his photo session with Forbes Indonesia. One explanation for his vigor may come from being surrounded by a positive ambiance. Fuad tak lagi berbasa-basi

James Riady, secara tak terduga, menyambangi kantor Badan Pengawas Pasar Modal dan Lembaga Keuangan (Bapepam-LK) pada Rabu sore pekan lalu. Sayangnya, Ketua Bapepam-LK Ahmad Fuad Rahmany yang ingin ditemuinya tidak ada di tempat, sehingga James pulang dengan tangan hampa.

Sebagai bos Grup Lippo, salah satu konglomerasi bisnis di Indonesia, kedatangan James tentu saja menarik minat para pewarta yang sedang gencar menyingkap kasus transaksi dua entitas bisnis Lippo yakni PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk dan anak usahanya PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (MDS).
